History

I attended  "Penge Secondary School" in South East London and it was there that I discovered I could sing. The Music Teacher, Mr Fletcher, seemed quite impressed and told me I should continue with my singing when I left school and entered the big wide world. So......
I bought a cheap acoustic and learned to play "Blowin'in the Wind" and "House of the Rising Sun". It must have sounded awful and I know my Mum got a bit fed up with the racket I was making but I am a determined sort of person and was not going to give up. I played a few folk clubs as a floor singer but my guitaring let me down and I soon found out that playing live was not as easy as it looked!

Track on this page is an original song. "Judy"
I forgot the music and followed my other great passion of cycle racing. I raced for the next 15 years or so and achieved moderate success. The picture above was taken on a Spanish Training Holiday in 2005.
In my early thirties I gave up the cycling and returned to music joining several duos but was happier on my own doing it my way!
The picture on the left was taken in 1985 when I was in a duo called"Two's Country". We played on the thriving country music club circuit for several years.
